Casey Falter

Born, raised and residing in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Casey Falter is steeped in the

music and culture of life in the High Country.  Armed with an acoustic guitar, effects and a loop

pedal, Casey brings “Looping Blues, Grass and Grooves” to the live performance stage.  He also wields the electric guitar as a member of Mountain Jam - An Allman Brothers Revival Band.

At a young age, Casey was exposed to the magic of live performance by his parents.  They took him to see the jam-grass pioneers, New

Grass Revival and John Hartford.  These experiences began a lifelong desire to sing and play

stringed instruments in front of people.  Electric guitar came into the picture for Casey in his teen

years as he discovered Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Healey, and the Allman Brothers Band.  When

his mind was blown at shows in the early 1990's by the Allman Brothers Band, Béla Fleck and

The Flecktones, and Phish, Casey rolled his blues and bluegrass assets into the realm of

improvisation and heavy jams.  Casey's musical journey further expanded in the 2010's as he

learned and performed over 100 songs by The Beatles.

From 1996 to the present, Casey Falter has been a member of the following Colorado bands:

Mountain Jam - An Allman Brothers Revival Band, Doctor Robert - Music Of The Beatles, Solar Junkyard, Backcountry Thieves, SevenAndTwoFives, and Downtime (with the Eames Brothers from Vermont).
